Working with Web cameras

On the special request by our reader Gaurav Ahuja, this post will tell about the cheap but good webcams that can be installed in your projects.

I myself have used cameras for various projects such as Touch Screens, Eye operated Systems, Infrared hand Gesture Detection and many more... For all this projects I have used 1 Camera by Zebronics.

The camera is the Eagle's Eye Cam by Zebronics. It costed me only Rs 550 and has worked perfectly fine since then.The model is ZEB-480WC.This webcam 1.3 mega pixels interpolated.It has a microphone also with it.They supply this webcam with a c.d to install the required software.Though it is easy to install the software for those who are familiar with basic computer operations,some who buy the webcam for mere chatting experience a few problems in installing the software.

The picture quality is very good.It has crisp ultra sharp visuals.It also has crystal clear ultra sensitive micro phone for clear hearing.The trendy stand (clip-on design)is very easy to use.It has unique ,sleek eye catching design.It has features like inbuilt lighting for brightness adjust.

It is a chinese product.It is manufactured by Longwin international limited,Shenzhen,China.It is marketed at very affordable prices throughout the world.In India it is imported by top Notch Infotronix pvt.ltd,Vepery,Chennai.I like it very much and I think it is really worth it’s price.I enjoy using it now in my personal computer while chatting .I recommended some of my friends also to buy this product.I got positive feed back from them too.
